very inexperienced U11 side started their 2008 campaign away to OTs & Romsey.
Skipper Thomas Oxley loss the toss and was put into bat.Straight bowling and excellent
fielding left Farley on 179 after 12 overs.Thomas Oxley 16 and John Hougton added
11 for the last pair to leave Farley on 191. OTs skipper Newman took 4-8 from
his 3 overs. Undaunted Farley fielded and bowled with great effort,especially
Liam Stephenson who took a catch,effected a run out and took a wicket!James Richards
(1-8) and Thomas Oxley (2-15) were the other successful bowlers. A.Welsh top scored
for OTs with 16,as they finished on 265.Despite the loss Farley have learnt much
